Waterbury Historical Society Mission Statement
"Waterbury Historical Society seeks to collect, research, document, preserve, and exhibit artifacts related to the history of Waterbury, Vermont to help others gain a deeper appreciation, education and inspiration through our connections with our past."
Waterbury Historical Society Museum
Museum is located at 28 North Main Street in the Waterbury Public Library. Hours by appointment or when Library is open. Collection in open museum includes items from Colby Manufacturing, from local families, World War II memorabilia from Waterbury and Dr Henry Janes memorabilia.
Society Information
The Historical Society welcomes donations of Waterbury related materials: books, calendars, artifacts, clothes & shoes, photos, signs, advertising items, booklets, military items from local servicemen, craft items or paintings from local artists, Waterbury School related & Harwood Union related items, and much more. Please remember the Waterbury Historical Society when you are moving or cleaning out the family home or the home of a family member. The Waterbury Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
The Waterbury Historical Society meets on the last Wednesday of January, April, July and October.
The Historical Society publishes a quarterly Newsletter.
Dues:
$10 per person
$15 per Family (couple and children under 18)
$100 Lifetime Membership
