Paterson, Benton, Washington



Henry T. Paterson came to the area north-west of Umatilla in 1882 and homesteaded along the beautiful Columbia River to insure water access. The town was named after Mr. Paterson in 1901, and boasts spectacular vineyards, the majestic Columbia River, and the Umatilla National Wildlife Refuge. Crow Butte State Park is also located 13 miles to the west.
