Tuesday's Tip: Washington State Genealogical Resource Guides
Do you have Washington State ancestors or distant relatives that you are researching?
Well, you're in luck, because the Washington State Genealogical Society is producing
the free! online! Washington State Genealogical Resource Guides to help researchers
find the resources they need in nearly every county in Washington . This ongoing
project was started by Kathleen Allen O'Connor of Gonzaga University ( Spokane ) and
has been taken over by my fellow EWGS blog team member *Charles Hansen, and
currently has guides for 34 out of 39 counties. *

It's a daylight basement but only from two sides. The one side is buried in dirt and the

spring. I traced it to the high humidity down here. This dehumidifier is costing about $1
a day to run but it's taking two gallons of water out of the air day after day. We've had it

Pat,
They sent my US MAIL request
back, with a note that I have
to be a direct descendant!
But how could I find out, if
I couldn't finish my research.
I was quite sure that the ELDER
there was PAXTANG PA, not my
FRANKLIN CO PA group. Just
trying to help establish the line
for another researcher, who didn't
ever request the record.

BRICKWALL PROJECT:
This information was entered by Sharon Munce in GenChat. Let's see if we can help
her!
George Richards, my grandfather ran away from home when he was young —
someplace in Ohio. He was born late 1800's married to Laura Richards & had 2
daughters. He was in Spanish American war. He was a gandy dancer and a roustabout
& was in San Francisco when the earth quake hit. He worked and married Laura on
Pike's Peak at a resort of some kind. They are buried in Lincoln Park in Portland
I know little else as he died before I was born and he wouldn't talk about his family --if
he had one— I am flummoxed on this path ---- I'm not even sure of his ancestry. I know
his eyes would change color — as I inherited that as did my cousin Joe
HELLLLLLP ---Sharon Munce (cousin of Flora May Munce, the baby you researched
before.
