Edith May Berry/Barry Ross was born 1867 in Linn Co OR to John and Letitia Needham Berry. In 1888 she married George W Ross in Linn Co OR. She was living in Portland OR in 1943 and may have still been alive in 1952. We know she had passed away by 1963. She is not on any death list in OR or any OR cemetery I can search on the web. It was suggested she may have been in a nursinghome in Vancouver WA and died there and have been buried there. Or she could have remarried in Vancouver. Is there a Death index and or a Marriage index for Clark Co or at least Vancouver for those years. I know 20 years is a long stretch but I am hopeful some one can help me find her. Sim was born Jul 1, 1887 in Topeka, Kansas he married Clara Rose MCCALL on September 21, 1919 in Washougal, Clark County, Washington and died February 5, 1976. Sim's parents were Eric Nystrom b 1850 in Storie Solve, Sweden and Hannah Smith b Jun 10, 1854 in Overholm, Sweden. Any information on this family including obituaries, burial locations would be most welcome.

I am researching the surname BERGER in the Washougal, Clark County, Washington area. Henry Berger was born Aug 5, 1842 in Switzerland and died Dec. 23, 1912. He was married about 1865 in Switzerland to Rosina Luenberger b Feb 14, 1841 in Switzerland and died Sept. 13, 1918. Both died in Washougal and are buried in Washougal Cemetery. Three of their five children lived in Washougal at some point in thier lives: 1. Henry Berger b April 29, 1870 in Kansas and d Nov. 14, 1955 in Washougal, 2. Rose Berger b Dec 24, 1872 in Kansas, m William McCall Oct. 28, 1892 in Oregon or Washington and died in Vancouver or Washougal Washington March 27, 1965, and 3. William Berger b Sept 8 1876 in Kansas, married Ida Alwer Herzig Jul 11, 1902 in Multnomah County, Oregon and d Jun 29, 1966. Henry may have also had a brother named Samuel Berger that also lived in Washougal. Any information on this family would be most sincerely appreciated.

Samuel BERGER was born Oct. 1838 in Switzerland. He married Annie ? about 1867 in Switzerland. Both emigrated to the us in 1875. In 1900 they resided in Washougal, Clark County, Washington and had a grandaughter living with them named Hilda KING age 2. I would like to find out any information on this family and specifically would like to know death dates and locations for Samuel and Annie and who their parents were. I suspect that Samuel was the brother to a Henry BERGER that also lived in Washougal on an adjacent farm, but have no proof as yet. I also would like to know if they were still living in Washougal in 1910 and if Hilda King was still living with them. Any help would be most sincerely appreciated.

William MCCALL was born october 22, 1862 in Ontario, Canada. He Married Rose BERGER on October 28, 1892 in either Oregon or Washington. By 1900 they were living in Washougal Washington where they raised their three children: Clara Rose, Jessie, and Percival Lester. All the children were born in Oregon, where they lived prior to taking up residence in Washougal. William was the son of John Robert and Mary MCCALL and Rose was the daughter of Henry and Rose BERGER. Any further information on this family would be greatly appreciated.

Fred Herzig was born Jan of 1860 in Switzerland and resided in Washougal, Clark County, Washington in 1900. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1880. I would like to find out how long he remained in Washougal, if he ever married, and when and where he died, as well as who his parents were. I suspect that he may have been a brother or otherwise related to a John Herzig that also resided in Washougal in 1900, but have no proof of this as yet. Any information on Fred Herzig or his family would be most sincerely appreciated.
