Good Morning! I am researching the Biteman family. I have found in the Clark County Marriage list for 1924 that Myrtle Biteman married a Michael Kiely on July 17, 1924. I plan to send for the marriage certificate. This date would put Myrtle at 15. Does anyone know of the Kiely family and does anyone know if the Biteman family may have moved to Vancouver or this area around this time period. The last census I can find them in is the Spokane census in 1910. Myrtle's parents name's were William and Mary and her siblings names were/are Edward, Isabel and Alice. If anyone has any information on Mrytle and Micheal or their families I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks so much - and have a great Holiday Season! Deirdre Alheim

Charles Gardner died 2-21-1892 at Sauvie's Island. The only obit found in the Oregonian was "Charles Gardner...died suddenly Sunday night". What newpaper was there in Vancouver at the time and would it possibly have carried an obit with more information? And could he be buried at the old City Cemetery in Vancouver? One of his sons (Jesse Nelson Gardner) was married to Lucy Ann Gillihan and his married daughter's name was Phoebe Maria Brown of Clark County.

I've just recently discovered that my husbands father Homer Haviland, lived in No. Bonneville, Clark Co., WA in the mid 1940's to mid 1950's. He passed away in 1962 in Tacoma, WA. I'm wondering if anyone knew him or has seen any info on him around the area. Also, I'm wondering if he could have worked on the dam there? Is there anyway to get records of dam workers? He may have been living around other family members listed in the surnames area. I have very little information on him and would appreciate anything anyone has.
