Hello, I am searching for the grandson of Maxwell Lanyon from Omaha, Nebraska. I have found genealogical papers, photos, and personal memorbilia that belonged to Max, who was a friend of my aunts. I would like to give these items to the family. In Max's papers (dated 1962), I found grandson, Charles John Morrison living in Vancouver, Washington. I would like to make contact with someone in this family. Can anyone Help?!? Thank you, Linda Brink

I'm Suzanne Hammond, the g-g-granddaughter of Wm. Reese and Sarah Jane ANDERSON, Hazel Dell, WA, who had 14 living children in 1900. I am interested in locating any ANDERSON, GARDNER, BOZORTH/BOZARTH, STRONG relatives in Clark, Lewis and other WA counties. My g-grandmother was Marilla [Anderson] Gardner, (married to Edmond B. GARDNER, who may have been adopted on the Oregon Trail, original name PERKINS ?) My grandfather was Charles William GARDNER, commonly known as "CW" or "Dave", (married to Clara Effie STRONG, whose parents were Solomon and Amelia STRONG [nee BOZARTH?] of Woodland, WA.) My Father was Edmond William GARDNER, (married to Jeanne Frances GATES of Portland, Or.) I am interested in contact with any other descendents beyond my nuclear family.

GOLLADAY posted by Fran Eichler on Monday, May 9, 2005
Leslie C. Golladay died on 12/5/1979. The Washington death database states his last place of residence/death place as Camas, WA. However, the SSDI lists his last residence as Astoria, Clatsop, Oregon. I am assuming the towns are right across the border from each other. Could someone be kind enough to find the obit for me and send it by e-mail. I don't need a xerox of the obit, just the test and where and when it was published. Thanks, Fran Eichler, Kalona, IA

PAYTON posted by Jean Payton on Tuesday, May 24, 2005
I am looking for a death record on the following person: Henry Harold Payton b. May 5, 1892 d. October 24, 1955 b. Williamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. I need someone who will do a lookup for me at the Vital Records as I didn't find it listed on line in the Death Index. I am not sure that he died in Washington State but I cannot believe that since he was born in Ontario, Canada that he was living there when he died and then was transported to Williamette National Cemetery. That was a long ways to send a body for urial when their were much closer national cemeteries. I tried getting info from the Cemetery but they will not give info over the phone. I would sure appreciate a lookup for him as my husband and I have been searching for years for his uncles and this is one more road block that has been put in our way. For every step forward we end up having to take three steps back. Any help is greatly appreciated. I will pay for all costs in looking up this record. BAKKE, PALMS, PORTER posted by Cathy Hutchinson Larkins on Wednesday, October 19, 2005
BAKKE search....1930 census shows my great grandmother Elizabeth and her second husband Elmer BAKKE living in Vancouver, Clark, WA. They had a daughter Cherly A listed with them age 10/12mo so born abt June 1929. Marie Elizabeth Palms was married 1st to Walter Porter and had a son Robert Franklin Porter born 1921 in Lebam, WA. Her husband died in a logging accident in 1924. She left her son to be raised by her in laws, then his uncles. She remarried to Elmer BAKKE 6 July 1926 in South Bend, WA. Then I find them in 1930 living in Vancouver while her son is living in Lebam with his grandmother in 1930. I have done much research on Elizabeth and she likes to chamge her name. 1930 census I think she lied a "bunch" to the census taker or to the husband. She wasn't born in Oregon, she was born in Port Blakely, WAs and her father was born NY not Austria and her mother was from MI. I could have the wrong person but do not think so. The family doesn't know about this child Cheryl listed in the 1930 census! I am writing hoping someone local can check public records/ cemetery records for me to see if this child lived. I don't wish to put the family into shock until I know more. I thank you for any help you can send my way... Sincerely, Cathy CLar780335@aol.com
