Funeral Set for Friday

Mrs. Elsa M. Berquist, 209 W. Thirtieth St., succumbed Wednesday at her home. She was 54.

Born Jan. 1, 1900 at Stockholm, Kans., she moved to Vancouver from Kansas in 1942. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Her survivors include her widower, John Berquist, Vancouver; one daughter, Mrs. Letha Jacobsmahler, Cornelius, Ore.; three brothers, Joseph, Arthur and Elmer Johnson, all in Kansas; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Obed Vold officiating. Final interment will take place in Park Hill Cemetery.


Anna Marie Boileau

Mrs. Boileau Dies Aged 69

Mrs. Anna Marie Boileau, 2115 Carlson Road, Vancouver, died at home June 21. A resident of Vancouver for the past 35 years, she was born Feb. 11, 1883 at Powers, Mich.

Survivors include the husband, Ferdinand Boileau, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Laura Wheeler of Buxton, Ore.; two sons, Theodore Boileau of Vancouver and Lawrence Boileau of Portland; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Finch of Flint, Mich.; two brothers, William Barry of Detroit, Mich., and Roger Barry of Flint, Mich., and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Boileau was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Vancouver. Requiem mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Church with Rev. Father Thomas Pitsch officiating, with vault interment following in St. James Acres. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Priel Rites Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah L. Priel, 83-year-old Battle Ground resident who died Tuesday in Battle Ground, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Soltman officiating. Final interment will follow in the City Cemetery in Vancouver.

Born March 18, 1871 at Iowa City, IA., she had been a Clark County resident for the past 20 years.

Surviving her are two sons, Miles a Priel, Vancouver, and Elmer R. Priel, Lincoln, Neb.; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Parker, Santa Ana, Calif.; Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
