Welcome to the home page for the Czech-Slovak Interest Group, which is associated with the Eastside Genealogy Society. We are a group started by Rosie Bodien, that is made up of a varied group of individuals from all over the Puget Sound area who meet and coordinate our efforts in order to research our Czech and Slovak ancestry. We hope this site will be of use to you in researching your Czech and Slovak families, and that you will find the resources here of help to you. If you are aware of other resources on- or off-line, please email me and I will try to get them included on the site. Be aware that we are just starting the site, and that it will continue to grow over the next weeks and months. For now we are including local and national research libraries and resources in the Puget Sound area, online resources, cultural items to help you learn about your ancestors' lives, items of news, and a calendar to help you find local events that might be of interest.
