Welcome to our chapter web site!

On behalf of the 80 members of Elizabeth Ellington Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), welcome. The DAR is a women's service organization whose members are age 18+, and can trace their lineage to those who fought for or aided the Patriot cause during the Revolutionary War. We've made a concerted effort to increase our service project commitment within our community.

Our ladies enthusiastically support veterans and the service men and women that make up a large portion of Kitsap County's population. Daughters serve on a number of committees benefiting schools, learning, and encouraging historic education. Many members enjoy tracing their family heritage, and we are happy to assist you in your effort to join our dynamic organization. We can also assist individuals interested in joining our affiliated organizations, Children of the American Revolution and Sons of the American Revolution.

As the only DAR chapter in Kitsap County, and with chapter members ranging from college students to retirees, we do our best to accommodate a variety of age and scheduling needs. DAR is also about friendships and networking, both near and far. Come on in and spend some time learning more about what we do. We hope we can look forward to meeting you at a chapter event in the future.

Thanks for visiting our web site!
