Dance Programs

Here is a little different "record". The following information was taken from the programs distributed for dance recitals given from the Gene Pauline School of Dancing. When I first saw these I thought "Oh, Neat." Then I began to ponder their value as genealogical references. These are not the great finds of vital statistics, but rather the wonderful and fulfilling finds of discovering something personal about an ancestor. I hope that you find your ancestors name listed and realize that they had an interest in the art. Remember also that if your ancestor is listed here they must have lived fairly close to the Liberty Theatre and to Pasco during this time. Travel of long distance for repeated rehearsals was not as easy as it is today.
