History of Franklin County
I have been looking for a well written story of the history of Franklin County. I realize how important this is to family historians. The history of the county helps paint the picture of where our ancestors lived.
You can only imagine my own surprise when I tripped upon the “Franklin County Agriculture, County Agricultural Data Series, 1966”. The first chapter is titled “History” and it is the well written story of the history of Franklin County that I was looking for. This report focuses on the agricultural growth of the county, including individuals who were instrumental in establishing the important aspects of the county. The following surnames are mentioned, however, if you have any interest in the history of Franklin County you will find this report worth reading.
