Any Woman is eligible for membership who is no less then eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death.
The National Society reserves the right to determine the acceptability of all service and proof thereof. The National Society accepts service, with some exceptions, for the period between April 19, 1775 (Battle of Lexington) and November 26, 1783 (withdrawal of British troops from New York).

information. Admission to membership in the NSDAR is by invitation through
a Chapter in your State Organization. No Chapter may discriminate against
an applicant on the basis of race or creed. The Fort Vancouver Chapter
hopes you will consider our Chapter. We are able to assist in the application
