This is the Web site of the Jefferson County Genealogical Society, ©1998-2007. The Jefferson County Genealogical Society (JCGS) was formed in 1983. We are located in Jefferson County, Washington. We offer fellowship, support and assistance to anyone interested in genealogy. We are a tax exempt (501(c)3) non-profit organization. Operating funds come from dues, sale of publications, research, donations, and income from an endowment fund.
