Join the Washington state Genealogical Society WSGS
WSGS is a blanket society of all Genealogy organization in Washington State. Membership is open to all genealogists and costs $12 per year. Their Newsletter contains announcements of Seminars and local, usually county Society meetings. They have an annual convention you can attend -- in Mount Vernon, May 16-17 2008.
