WHAT'S NEW,

Ongoing effort to put Ellensburg IOOF Cemetery graves on Find A Grave. Access over 7800 graves info by clicking this link. Over 4800 of the graves now include photos of the headstones along with other information about the deceased person.

ATTENTION KCGS MEMBERS!!! Proposed Field Trip - Saturday, June 15th
Meet at Daily Record parking lot at 10am to car pool to South Cle Elum to the Iron Horse B&B which we'll see by special arrangement. Then tour the South Cle Elum Rail Yard and Depot Cafe in the same area. Eat lunch at the Depot Cafe which is now open as a barbecue or bring your own lunch. After lunch, then visit the Telephone Museum. These two sites open at noon and we'll stay until everyone has seen what they want to, then proceed back to Ellensburg. Probable return time about 2:30pm. No cost to visit these places but donations are welcome.

March 2013 marked the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Kittitas County Genealogical Society.
