Here's What's New from our Society!!!
UNDER CONSTRUCTION...We are currently working on updating our website. Please excuse "our mess" while we upgrade! Thanks!
NOTICE: The Society Library will be CLOSED after Wednesday afternoon August 19th, until Tuesday, September 8th. During this closure, the Library carpet
will be cleaned and other normal housekeeping chores performed. The closure is planned annually for a time when many users are busy getting ready for the
Kittitas County Fair and Rodeo so usage of the Library is at a low level.
Society Monthly Meeting for August 2015. There is no early August Society Meeting. Instead Society Members will have their Annual Picnic on August 16th, at 4pm.
The potluck picnic will be hosted by Mary and Lew Christensen at their home at 60 Moe Road.
The new season of "Who Do You Think You Are" began on July 26th. There will be 5 episodes in the series which airs at 9 p.m. on the Learning Channel. In Ellensburg, WDYTYA will be on Charter Cable channels 26 and 765.
The Ellensburg High Valley Cemetery graves are NOW ON Find A Grave. Nearly EVERY one of the 1100 graves include photos of the headstones along with other information about the deceased person. This may include birth/death dates and locations, an obituary and links to parents/spouse/children at Find A Grave sites. Access the webpage by clicking here: High Valley Cemetery
