    ATTENTION: Late August and early September in Ellensburg means it is time for the Kittitas County Fair and Ellensburg Rodeo. That means everything comes to a halt in preparation for those events. The KCGS Genelogical Society Library is no exception. Therefore, be aware that the Library is CLOSED from 4pm on Wednesday, August 20th until 10am on September 8th, 2014. SPECIAL NOTE --- If someone from out-of-town is visiting during our closed period AND access to our library is desired, please call Diane Huckabay at 509 933-4051 and she will make arrangements for your use. This ONLY applies to out-of-town users!

    The Ellensburg High Valley Cemetery graves are NOW ON Find A Grave.  Access over 1130 graves info by clicking this link.  Over 1100 of the graves include photos of the headstones along with other information about the deceased person.  This may include birth/death dates and locations, an obituary and links to parents/spouse/children at Find A Grave sites..


    Ongoing effort to put Ellensburg IOOF Cemetery graves on Find A Grave continues.  Access over 8715 graves info by clicking this link.  Over 6210 of the graves now include photos of the headstones along with other information about the deceased person.  This may include birth/death dates and locations, an obituary and links to parents/spouse/children at Find A Grave sites..
