The Lewis County Genealogical Society has a list of cemeteries in the county. Many of these cemeteries have been transcribed, and if the information is on-line a link has been provided. The pictures below are from Shoestring Cemetery (click picture for larger view).

Adna
- Bunker Creek: Original name unknown, on the old John Young place on Bunker Creek; 2 graves, ID unknown.
Centralia
- Hanaford Valley Graves: few listed burials on farms; information at Lewis County Historical Museum.
- Linnwood Greenwood Memorial Park: (aka Sticklin Cemetery/Sticklin Greenwood Memorial Park/aka Linnwood Cemetery ca 1883); 1822 Van Wormer, Centralia, WA, across from Fords Prairie grade school; created 12 December 1918.
- Mountain View Cemetery: (Pioneer Section – aka Butterworth’s); 1113 Caveness Drive, Centralia, WA, created by E.R. Butterworth 1906, 1850 burials.
- Mountain View Cemetery: (New Section); see Pioneer Section above.
- Tullis Cemetery: Centralia, WA, no longer exists; according to the Chronicle news-clipping 15 February 1958, “more than 100 graves were moved about 1901.” was located between 1st and Hanson and between “E” and “G” streets.
- Washington Lawn Cemetery: Washington Avenue, Centralia, WA; estqablished 18 May 1903.
Chehalis
- Claquato Cemetery: Chehalis, WA, 102 Water Street, west of Chehalis; early dates to 1852.
- Deskins Family Cemetery: 1855 North Fork Road, Chehalis, WA, Jim Deskins property; currently 15 family burials.
- Dryad Cemetery: (aka Doty-Dryad Cemetery); Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #3,; 1 mile NW of Dryad, Chandler Rd, 1st burial 1895; plotted 24 July 1900.
- Fern Hill Cemetery: originally Phillips, later Urquhart Cemetery; corner of Ribelein & Bishop Roads, Chehalis, WA; created 1885; dedicated 24 January 1893.
- Greenwood Masonic Cemetery: Chehalis, WA; created 14 August 1891; plotted 1898; last burial in 1975, estimated 500 burials and only 200 marked graves.
- Jackson Cemetery: Mary’s Corner, WA; created – Mrs. Jackson’s children by previous marriage, Felix G. Koontz 7 December 1855, Henry M. Koontz 1 June 1857, only stones left, others destroyed.
- Sunset Memorial Gardens: see Claquato Cemetery; aka Odd Fellows Cemetery; Chehalis, WA, 193 Chilvers RD; dedicated 11 July 1923.
Curtis
- Boistfort Cemetery: (aka Harris); ¼ mile south of Boistfort store on Wilderwood road, Curtis, WA, dedicated 4 October 1888.
- Pleasant Hill Cemetery: (aka Wasson Cemetery); Curtis, WA; Pleasant Hill Rd off Curtis Hill Rd; created 10 October 1907.
Ethel
- Ethel Greenwood Cemetery: (aka Clements, LaDue, & Olsen Cemeteries); Lewis County Cemetery Dist #6; Ethel, WA, coming north from Highway 12 on Brim-Leonard Rd, turn right onto Gore Road, 1/8 mile is a sign on right, open two gates to get into cemetery, road through pasture is mowed and runs straight south; created 1915.
- Ike Cemetery: (aka David Ike Cemetery/aka Indian Cemetery); from state highway 12, off Tucker Rd, 1.9 miles down Classe Road, on left, gravel road with gate, follow about quarter mile, Winlock, WA (address), Ethel, WA (area).
Glenoma
- Christian Cemetery: at Glenoma, WA on Phil Loucks far, have burials, no dates.
- Coleman Cemetery: (aka Glenoma Cemetery); east of Glenoma, WA, south side of White Pass Highway next to Coleman place.
- Fisher Cemetery: behind John Shaffer house, near hillside, Glenoma, WA; Fisher/Clevenger/Hanger; not the same as Coleman Cemetery, east of Glenoma WA.
- Rainey Valley Cemetery: Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #4; Glenoma, WA; 6 miles west of Randle, Hwy 12, oldest part straight across Hwy 12; created 1905 by Milburn Jackson Stiltner; first recoded burial in 1919; dedicated 1 February 1928.
Independence
- Finn Hill Cemetery: Independence, WA, end of Nelson Road, Independence Valley; created 1905.

Mineral
- Mineral Cemetery: Mineral, W; Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #10; created 1902.
Morton
- Morton Cemetery: Morton, W, 7th and Westlake Avenue; created 1904.
- Stiltner Memorial Cemetery: (aka Clevenger & Stiltner Cemetery, aka aJohn Weslie Stiltner Memorial Cemetery/John Stiltner Memorial Cemetery); NE of city limits, Morton, WA; private family cemetery; plotted 1905, first burial dates 1924, Mrs. Stiltner donated cemetery to Mt. Zion Baptist Church 1934-1935; Mt. Zion Church relinquished ownership back to the family later.
Mossyrock
- Doss Cemetery: Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #2; Mossyrock, WA, from Mossyrock-Highway 12 intersection, you head north and immediately on your left Coleman Rd. takes off west and winds up the hill to the cemetery; created 1908.
- Dunn Cemetery: (aka Harmony Cemetery); Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #2; Mossyrock, WA, south of Hwy 12, where Larson RD comes into Hwy 12, 1 ½ miles east of Mossyrock sign by a gate, must go through to follow lane about 1/8 of a mile into cemetery; created 1908, some burials as early as late 1800’s.
- Klickitat Cemetery: (aka Hendricks Cemetery); original family cemetery, then I.O.O.F. Mayfield joined; Hendricks is Section 1 and I.O.O.F. Mayfield is Section 2 of Klickitat Cemetery, Lewis County Dist. #2; Mossyrock, WA, east on Hwy 12, turn right at DeGoede’s Bulb Farm, road slants SE towards Mossyrock, a short distance from DeGoede’s is the large cemetery on the right; created 1871.
- ST. Ives Catholic Cemetery: Harmony, WA; Mossyrock-Hwy 12 intersection, go north on road about a mile, cross an “arm” of Mayfield Lake, road begins to wind up hill, Church on left, cemetery is behind the church, privately maintained by the church; Church burned summer of 1989, has been rebuilt; created 1914.
- Riffe Cemetery: now flooded by Riffe Lake; had been located east of Riffe; most graves moved to Doss Cemetery, Mossyrock, a few to other locations. Cemetery records were burned at turn of century (1900). Chehalis Timberland Library and Lewis County Historical Museum have some lists.
- Smith Cemetery: 3 miles east of Riffe, located on Bill aIrish land; flooded by Riffe Lake; about 30 graves moved to Doss Cemetery, Mossyrock, WA. Chehalis Timberland Library has list.
- Swofford Cemetery: Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #2; Mossyrock, WA, follow Mossyrock road east to Swofford, follow Swofford to Perkins Road “T”, turn left on Green Mountain Rd, cemetery is on the hill at the end of Harrington Rd; created 1892.
- Tilton River Indian Cemetery: now covered by Mayfield Lake; 31 Indians from this site were moved to the Dunn Cemetery.
- Wilson Pioneer Cemetery: (aka Owrey Family Cemetery); 156 Koons Rd, Mossyrock, WA on private land, follow Winston Creek Rd into Salmon Creek Rd, at “T”, turn right on Koons Rd, take logging road immediately on right after seeing the mailbox 156, follow road to cemetery; created 1890.
Napavine
- Napavine Cemetery: Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #9; Napavine, WA, north end of the city of Napavine at the corner of 4th and Grand; dedicated 5 May 1891.
Onalaska
- Alpha Cemetery: Lewis County Cemetery District #6; Centralia-Alpha Rd, Onalaska, WA, dedicated 1915.
- Shoestring Cemetery: (aka Cinebar Cemetery, aka Parnell Cemetery); Lewis County Cemetery Dist #6; Highway 508, Onalaska, WA, near Shoestring Church; created in 1883, donated by Mirinda Shaffer, daughter Sarah Parnel and husband, Richard Parnel, originally for family and neighbors.
Randle
- Kehoe Burial: Hwy 12, Randle, WA, turn right on Kehoe RD; 1 male adult.
- Kiona Cemetery: Randle, WA; Indian burial grounds on Kiona Creek.
- Koher Family Farm: Falls Rd, Randle, WA, formerly Cispus; no markers for Fred, Carl and children of Heinrich & Bertha Koher.
- Silver Creek Cemetery: (aka Randle Cemetery); Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #4, Randle, WA; created 1890; 1st burial 1894.
Packwood
- Packwood Evergreen Cemetery: (aka Evergreen Cemetery); Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #4, Packwood, WA; first burial 1914.
PeEll
- Forest Lawn Cemetery: PeEll Town Cemetery; created 10 December 1898.
- German Catholic Cemetery: back part of Forest Lawn Cemetery, PeEll, WA.
Salkum
- MT. Hope Cemetery: most likely New Hope section of Salkum Cemetery has been confused with Mount Moriah section of Salkum Cemetery.
- MT. Moriah Cemetery F & A.M.: now part of Salkum Cemetery; created by Robert Morris Lodge, Silver Creek, 21 December 1929.
- Salkum Cemetery: (aka New Hope/Mt. Moriah/Mt. Hope); Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #2; south of Salkum, WA, turn right on Wilcox Rd, follow past church to cemetery; previously parts were named Amt. hope Assn. Cemetery and Mount Moriah; Mt. Moriah was at the far end of the cemetery, first burial 1900; first burial at Mt. Hope was 1886.
Toledo
- Lone Hill Cemetery: (aka Layton Prairie Cemetery); near Toledo, overlooking the Cowlitz River; Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #5; Toledo, WA; established 1889; 1st recorded burial 1850; Lone Hill 24 June 1949.
- Roberts Cemetery: (aka Howe Cemetery/Cowlitz Prairie Cemetery); Toledo, WA, Howe Road east on Cowlitz Prairie, turn by Cowlitz Mission Church, come to four crossroads, turn left-A frame house on left, look down over hill, see white ribbon; created 1870 by great grandfather of Donald Roberts Sr.
- ST. Francis Mission: (aka Cowlitz Mission/aka St. Francis Mission Calvary Cemetery); Toledo, WA; oldest in state 1845, dedicated 30 June 1899.
- Toledo Cemetery (A-L) (M-Z):Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #7; 5th street next to Fir Lawn Funeral Home, Toledo, WA; created 9 January 1888, 2nd addition 1931.
Vader
- Little Falls Cemetery: Lewis County Cemetery Dist. #8; Vader, WA; early burials 1881; created 5 December 1910.
- Vader Catholic Cemetery: Vader, WA west of I-5; contact Sacred heart Catholic Church, Vader, WA.
Winlock
- Snow Cemetery: (aka Brinsons Cemetery); Chaufty Road, Winlock, WA area; 3 miles west of Winlock on bank of Snow Creek and Chaufty Homestead, Roe Road to Henning Road – left to end of road; private cemetery, deeded 3 April 1908, first burial 1892.
- ST. Urban Catholic Cemetery: near St. Urban & Winlock, WA, North Military Road, SE corner Sargent Rd and Military Rd intersection, cemetery behind church which faces Military Rd; created 1891.
- Schlittler Cemetery: 757 North Military Rd, Winlock, WA; created 1856; belongs to Schlittler family, there are 17 people buried there and there will be no more.
- Winlock Cemetery: formerly Woodlawn Cemetery; Lewis County Dist. #1; Cowlitz Road, Winlock, WA; created 21 December 1910.
