Welcome! Our chapter was organized on April 17, 2004, and created for the working women in the Seattle area who can prove their descent from a Patriot in the American Revolution.

We are dedicated to the Objectives of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and intent on providing a place for the ladies of our organization to come together for camaraderie, education, and service in the community.

The eleven adventurous ladies known as the Mercer Girls came to Seattle in 1864 with Asa S. Mercer to be teachers and to aid in the development of the territory.  Learn more about who they were and why they were called The Mercer Girls.

We welcome visitors and prospective members to our meetings and programs. For details and directions, please contact our Regent, Carol Jean Gaffney, or our Vice Regent, Lynn Junell

For information on membership, please contact our Chapter Registrar, Mary Peters.
