The Olympia Chapter No. 4 of the Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington was organized in 1930.
The objectives of the organization are:
- To preserve the history and to perpetuate the sentiment relating to pioneer days in the State of Washington.
- To locate documents, records, and historical incidents associated with the pioneers.
- To identify, make known, and protect historical spots.
