    Are you wondering how to get started? Or started, but wondering where to go now? Come on down to the Beginners Genealogy Cafe. OGS members will be on hand to help you.


    Beginner's Workshop

    The Olympia Genealogical Society will give a beginning genealogy research class at the Olympia Timberland Library on October 20, 2012, including steps for research, places to gather information, and ways to document your family history.

    Registration information will be available at the library near the end of September.



    If you have an interest in a special area of research, contact the society at OlympiaGenSoc@bigfoot.com. If there is enough interest, and a leader can be found, a group will be formed.
