SIGS Web Page Has Special Features

It’s time to seriously investigate the SIGS web page at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wasigs/index.htm

When visiting the web page, you will see a series of content pages offered by SIGS to site visitors.
  • You can read the Sounder quarterly and the Beacon monthly newsletter online.

  • You can read the holdings catalogs of the SIGS library and the SIGS Native American collection, PLUS the catalogs of the Family History Centers in Everett and Shoreline.

  • You can look up your surnames in the Surname Registry, which has about 275 entries and is still growing.

  • You will find indices (plural of index) to the book “Images of America: Alderwood Manor” and to the collection of Winifred Saltmarsh RAINES.

But wait—there’s MORE!  

New page design will lead you to the “SPECIAL PROJECTS PORTAL” your entry to a secret trunkful of goodies.  It contains treasures relating to Snohomish and Island Counties—but not ONLY them.  These treasures contain serious content that makes the SIGS web page unique.  Take a look at these titles:

CamWood Obituary Project – is an index to obituaries from the Stanwood/Camano Island area, currently over 9800 data lines.

Snohomish County Gazetteer - all the expected SnoCo locality names with the addition of a few really obscure place names.
