EUGENE CASIMIR CHIROUSE, O.M.I.
a Biography by Betty Lou Gaeng
Eugene Casimir Chirouse

Eugene Casimir Chirouse O.M.I.
In 2007, SIGS member Betty Lou Gaeng began her research into the life and times of Reverend Eugene Casimir Chirouse, O.M.I.  Her original story was published in three installments in The Sounder, the quarterly publication of the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society.

Betty continued her research, discovering more sources of information that had been overlooked by other biographers and historians.  She then re-wrote her earlier story to include these new findings as well as historical documents and images that give the reader a fuller picture of  this great man whose life work influenced so many of the First People of the Puget Sound area.
