The Sno-Isle Genealogical Society is a not-for-profit organization devoted to furthering genealogical research and education, housing genealogical materials and promoting interest in Family History. The Society is committed to recording and publishing genealogical data concerning Snohomish and Island Counties, in the State of Washington.

From the President's message in the September issue of The Beacon - It has been decided there will be only four general membership meetings this year - September, November, March and May. For the other months SIGS is making plans to offer a variety of options that include focus groups, webinars, different level genealogy classes, classes on specific subjects, tours and at least one half-day seminar. The German, Scandinavian, and Family Tree Maker focus groups are beginning in September. Plans are to add more focus groups. Winter quarter should see the addition of webinars and genealogy classes.

Membership in the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society is $25.00 a year, payable each September. Members receive email notifications of The Sounder, SIGS quarterly publication and The Beacon, SIGS monthly newsletter.
