- Library, Membership, Publications, and Purchasing & Sales financial records.
The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining a list of all assets owned by the Society, including original cost and current location of each item.

The Treasurer is deemed to be the registered agent, as required by Washington State law and shall file all IRS reports and forms required by our organization's 501(c)3 status.

The Society Fiscal Year shall be from June 1 through May 31. Moved to Article II

Authority to sign checks is delegated to the President, Vice- President and the Treasurer of the Society. Two (2) signatures shall be required on all checks over $100.00.
Article VII Article VIII STANDING and SPECIAL COMMITTEES
¶ 2 is eliminated, ¶ 3 becomes ¶ 2.

The chairs of all committees shall be members in good standing. Chair of each Committee shall serve as a member of the board of Directors.

Special Committees shall include but not be limited to the following: Audit and Budget. The Chairs of Special Committees are not included as members of the Board of Directors but are urged to participate with the Board whenever appropriate. Special Committees may be appointed or dismissed at the request of the President with the approval of the Board.

Duties of the Standing Committees and Special committees shall be set forth in the Standing Rules of the Society a separate section of the Handbook.
Article VIII Article IX MEETINGS

Regular General membership meetings shall be held monthly except in July, August and December.

Special meetings or activities may take the place of or be held in addition to the regular general meetings at the request of the President or by special request of a minimum of five (5) members in good standing. All special meetings must receive approval of the Board.

The Board of Directors shall meet monthly prior to the regular general membership meeting. When there is no membership general meeting, the Board may meet at the discretion of the President.

The Annual Meeting shall be the May membership meeting. The May general meeting shall be the Annual Meeting.
Article IX Article X QUORUM and VOTING

Seven (7) members of the Board shall constitute a quorum for any meeting of the Board of Directors.

Thirty (30) members in good standing shall constitute a quorum at a regular membership general meetings.

Voting shall be either by voice or by written ballot at the discretion of the presiding officer except for the election of officers which shall be subject to the provisions of Article V VI Section 5.
