Can you tell me where I could find an interest in historical photos, that were taken around 1913. My great grandfater had the first car delivered by boat to LaConner. He also had the Hub Livery in Bow with a stage coach run to Edison. The barn that he used for his business was the Gilkey Barn. I have a picture of the coach and barn I have a picture of the car in LaConner decked out in parade fashion.

Johanne ELIASDATTER BAKKEN. I am trying to find my grandmother's sister's family. I do not know her married name and my only information is a photograph of her and two children taken at the Kinsey Studio in Sedro- Woolley. She was born in Hægebostad, Vest-Agder, Norway on November 13, 1871. She came to Stephen Minnesota in 1894. She may have married there before going to Washington. A letter found in Norway states that she died in 1903. Like my grandmother she may have used one of several different maiden names: Bakken, Eliasdatter, Eliasson or Hill. I have several pictures I believe to be her. I would appreciate any help or suggestions anyone could give. Thank you, Dennis Sorgen

Hi All, I hope the weather in Washington is nice for all, here in Australia it is very hot! I have a number of issues concerning a family in Washington. Sarah Armstrong (born 1893 England) was my great grandfathers sister. She married Burnett Edington Cameron in Canada and they had two children Phyllis Enid Cameron and Burnett Edington Cameron born in Canada. They went to Washington c1919 and were living in Yakima in 1920. Burnett was a barber. They seem to have divorced by 1930 however as in the 1930 census she is living and married to Fred Sampson in Sedro-Woolley. Sarah's mother, Sarah Hutchinson died 10th May 1950 in Sedro-Woolley but cant seem to see her in the Sero Woolley Union Cemetery. Is there another cemetery? Sarah and Burnett has another child Jack E Cameron born c1921??? but not sure what his real name is, whether it is Jack and what happened to him or his mother and step father. My grandfather was sent some photos of the family and on it says that Jack was killed in WWII but I cant seem to work out if this is true!!??? I have searched the SSDI for Sarah and Fred but alas, no such luck. If anybody could point me in the right direction for finding more about this family, and if there are any relatives of this family out there, would dearly love to know!

Hello ... I am trying to research Zena and Jack/(J.H.) WAGNER who lived in Anacortes, Washington, around the turn of the century (1900) until at least 1925-ish. Mr. Wagner was very involved with The Fraternal Order of Eagles, and I believe he was affiliated with the British Columbia FOE? I am related to "Aunt Zena" and would love to find an obituary for her and/or Jack, or any other information that might be available. I believe Zena passed away in 1924, or possibly the first half of 1925. According to a letter written to my grandmother by Jack Wagner on June 12, 1925, Zena had died from tuberculosis. Prior to her death she was a resident in a t.b. clinic called "Laurel Beach" - she was admitted on July 20, 1923. I believe Zena hailed from somewhere in Michigan - Holland, Michigan, I think. And, I think Mr. Wagner was from Wisconsin. Any assistance or guidance you could offer would be greatly appreciated. I live in Michigan, but would love to travel to Anacortes one day - it sounded like a beautiful place long ago, and from searching the Internet, it seems like it still is. Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Sheryl Campbell
