Introduction:

This is truly a Work in Progress. The objective is to provide an accurate ready reference for Pierce County researchers.

There are more than 100 known burial sites, graveyards and cemeteries of various types throughout Pierce County. Some of the older sites are not accessible by car, and some sites are on private or restricted government property.

Additions and corrections to this list are most welcome. Current contact information of the holders of the original interment registers is especially needed. In addition, workable GPS coordinates for the more remote burial sites would be very helpful. The addresses provided here may be approximate. Please send updates to celtictwigs@yahoo.com

Please note that our society does not have any original interment registers. However, we do have access to transcriptions of memorial stones and photocopies of early death ledgers. Contact our Family Line Researcher for further information.
