What are Queries?
Queries, in genealogical publications, have traditionally been similar to classified ads. They are short paragraphs, with specific details about a person or family, usually complete with a specific question or "query" about that person or family. These days, queries are published in magazines, newsletters, journals, newspapers, e-mail mailing lists and on web sites. The queries found here on the TPCGS web site are submitted by members and non-members who have research in this area of the world. Queries for the 2002 - 2003 TPCGS Year
ENGLE, SCHRENK
Seeking information on Jacob (Jake or Jack) ENGEL, who was b 19 Nov 1886, in Kleefeld, Russia, to Joseph EINGEL/ENGEL and Elizabeth (SCHRENK) EINGEL/ENGEL. He is known to have worked as a bulk fuel driver from Goodrich, ND, to New Rockford, ND, and is also known to have worked in sales. He disappeared in 1913-1914 and has never been seen again by his family in ND. Since that time, there have been rumors of his being seen in Texas, Chicago, Canada, and Carrington, ND, where his extended family lived. He may have had a wife and children.

Seeking parents of James M. CARTWRIGHT b June 1844, possibly in Indiana. He married Alice TRESENRITER, b 10 May 1849 in Floyd Co., IN, m 24 Dec 1866, in Harrison Co., IN. Possible names Charles CARTWRIGHT and Cynthia unknown.
