I have been looking for information on the Taskerud name
for about a year. We have located the farm near Ness.
Several Taskerud's live in Norway but so far we have not
found a link. My great grand father was John Christian
Taskerud. He had a brother Frederik who I can find little
information on so far. He was born 2 Jan 1838 Taskerud,
Ness Norway. I do not know if he came to America as we
have no record. He was the son of Christian Olsen and
Anne Neilsdatter. Others in that family were Necoline
(Lena),and Ole. I would like to find more about Ole,
Frederik and Lena. Other farm names associated with
Taskerud's are Hobrenna, Sor-Holo, Ingeberg. I think we
may have relatives from some of these farms. Any
information would be appreciated. Thank you, Charlie
Taskerud.
