Andrew H. Arntson, a resident of Menomonie for over 26 years, died at the Kunter Nursing Home at 6:10 p.m. Thursday August the 11th.
He was born in Melhus, Trondheim, Norway May 28, 1877. He came to this country in March 1899. He was married to Petra Larke April 17, 1912. They their first home in Grace City, North Dakota from where they moved in May 1923 to make their home in Menomonie. Mrs. Arntson died October 12, 1927. They have been members of our church since 1923.
The deceased is survived by a foster son, Donald E. Forseth of Vallejo, Calif. and by one brother George Arntson and two sisters, Inga Arntson and Martha Mitlyng, all of Menomonie. There is also one sister, Anna Johnson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and three sisters in Norway.
Burial will be in the Halverson Cemetery.
