Hendrik Dahl had 6 brothers/sisters names are: Ganar Fjestad, Andars, Anton Brynie, Eli Stenberg, Anne Bretten, Hans Dahl. Christine Dahl had 2 brothers and 4 sisters: Karen Dillrud, Karoline Bergman, Pauline Syverine Vold, Erick and Peder. Reading the information I have it seems Karen, Karoline, and Pauline came to America date unknown. The information states that back in the mid-1960s contact was made with O.H. Dahl, a nephew of Hendrik Dahl who lived in Romedal P. R. Stange Norway. Christine's maiden name may have been Pedersdatter. Looking for information on Jens Christensen, his wife Ingeborg Haagensdatter and five children. They came to US in 1885 from Hedmark, Norway and went to Sharon, Wisconsin to stay with Ingeborg's brother Gunnar Haagensen. They later went to Eau Claire and had six children. Their name was changed to Johnson sometime between 1885 and 1900. I am attempting to find the ship and point of entry into the United States for the family of Jens and Johanna Thompson, who left Kargero, Norway in 1868. Is there a source in Norway which would list ships going to America along with passenger lists. I did go to the National Archives in Washington, but could not find their names for ports in Baltimore, Philly or Boston. New York only has unindexed passenger lists for this time period before Ellis Island.
