The Blue Hills Genealogical Society - Barron County, Inc. holds their monthly meetings at 410 East LaSalle
Street in Barron, with the entrance being at the corner of 4th and LaSalle (unless otherwise indicated).
Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of every month, except in December and January

Our AgendaMeetings will start at 6:30 pm for registration of new members and a short social time.
The General Meeting will be from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and will include short business discussions
and informative programs with a wide variety guest speakers.

Our GoalsThe goals of the society include:
to encourage the preservation of genealogically relevant materials regarding Barron Co.,
educate persons in appropriate genealogical research methods,
aid persons in conducting the research of their Barron Co. roots,
encourage membership in the society, and
support existing resources in Barron Co. that contribute to this purpose.
The Blue Hills Genealogical Society - Barron County, Inc. is a non- profit organization,
has achieved Affiliate status with the Wisconsin State Genealogical Society (WSGS) and
is a member in good standing of the Federation of Genealogical Societies (FGS).

Memberships
and Membership PrivilegesThe Blue Hills Genealogical Society - Barron Co., Inc. offers two types of memberships:
Single memberships are $12.00
Dual memberships are $18.00 *(see note below)Dues paying members (single memberships) are entitled to the following privileges:
Voting privileges at regularly scheduled society meetings
Copy of Blue Hills Genealogical Society Bylaws
Bi-monthly Society Newsletter
Unlimited free lookups in our Surname File
Unlimited free lookups in our obituary collection
Unlimited free lookups in our cemetery abstracts
Unlimited free lookups in the Christeson Civil War Files
Unlimited free lookups in the 1922 History of Barron County
One free query in the Society Newsletter
Free Subscription to the Society's private E-Mail List
*Dual memberships are entitled to all of the above privileges except they will receive one copy of the society bylaws and one copy of each newsletter (snail mail version) We encourage all members to make a contribution of their time and / or talents through their participation in the authorized activities of the society. An active society is a successful society.
