The following announcements are provided to you as a public service. Watch this page for upcoming genealogical events,
not only for Barron County, but for the whole state of Wisconsin and nationally, too!

The Blue Hills Genealogical Society - Barron County, Inc. holds their monthly meetings at:
BHGS - Research Room
410 E. LaSalle Street
Barron WI 54812
(unless otherwise indicated in the meeting announcement below).
The entrance to the building is at the corner of 4th and LaSalle.
Meetings start at 6:30 pm for new member registrations and a short social time.
Regular meeting time begins at 7:00 PM.

Do you have old church histories or directories, school yearbooks, plat books, or other written documents, historical accounts that you do not know what to do with? Consider donating these to the Blue Hill Genealogical Society Library.

MEETING CANCELLATION POLICY: In the event that a meeting is cancelled (due to inclement weather, etc.) announcements will be made on the local Barron Co. radio stations, along with notices being posted on this page and on our society's mail list (Rooters). These actions will be taken before 4:00 pm the day of the meeting. Be sure to check any of these resources if in question about a possible cancellation.
