The Chippewa County Cemetery Index, published in

1998, contains 50,000 names transcribed from all the

tombstones in Chippewa County. It shows the location of the

cemeteries, lists old and current names used by the cemeteries

and tells the history of all the cemeteries. This work has been

done, and continues to be done, by dedicated volunteers.
