1948 LUCILLE LAUER AND OSCAR FOLSTAD ARE MARRIED Lucille Lauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lauer, became the bride of Oscar Folstad, son of Mrs. Ingeborg Folstad, on September 25. Father Pitzenberger read the double ring ceremony in St. Ann's rectory at two o'clock. The bride chose a grey two piece suit, accented with forest green accessories for her wedding. she wore a corsage of gardenias, sweetheart roses and stephonotas. Veronica Lauer was her sister's only attendant. She was dressed in a grey suit similar to that of the bride and wore green accessories. Her corsage was of pink carnations and gladioli flowerets. William Podvin was best man. Relatives and close friends were entertained at a reception from seven till nine following a six o'clock supper at the home of the bride's parents. The bride's mother wore a silk print dress for her daughter's wedding, and the mother of the groom wore a navy blue silk. After a two week's wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Folstad will be at home on Third Ave. The bride is employed at the Silver Coach Cafe and the groom is an employee of the Chippewa Canning Co. |
