There are no requests or projects too small or too large to be researched. We have all encountered the frustration of needing that missing link of the information needed to move us ahead or backwards of having an entire lineage of ancesters waiting to be discovered.

We are pleased to offer the following services:

• Record Research
• Photos of ancestral location of cemetery
• Creation of documentation of family history pedigrees, genealogies and lineages

Photos and record pick-ups are limited to the physical locations of archives, repositories, and the ancestral locations within Dodge and Jefferson Counties. An additional fee may be added for travel and fuel costs, depending on location. Most documents found in the Jefferson and Dodge County courthouses require a fee of $15.00-20.00 and are mailed directly to you. We will check to see if they have the document and send you the information you need to get them. Be aware that the Dodge County courthouse had a fire in 1877 and all records before that date were destroyed in the fire.

We use both on-line and on site sources in performing research. We utilize but are not limited to the following records:

1. Historical records: birth, marrige and death records
2. Census records
3. Church records
4. Immigration records
5. Military records
6. Court records
7. Newspapers and obituaries
8. City directories
9. Community, civic, occupational records and publications
10. Burial records
11. Historical and genealogical society records
12. Regional maps

Research costs $20.00 per hour, with a minimum of 3 hours. $20.00 per hour if more research is requested. Please do not expect your researcher to continue until they find the information you want, unless you are willing to pay for additional hours.
