Isaac and Margaret (Elmore) FELLOWS, Methodists. In 1840 and 1843 are recorded in Brookfield Twp., Milwaukee Co. Sometime between 1843 and 1846 family moved to Dodge Co. Ed. B. FELLOWS born there in Nov 1846. By 1860 family is back in Brookfield Twp., Waukesha Co. Would like to know where and when family lived in Dodge Co. and if they are mentioned in church records. I am looking for information on Perry Hopkins who was born in WI in the 1840's. His parents were George W. and Rebecca Hopkins. Perry married Matilda Straw. Matilda's parents were Enoch and Betsey Straw from the Hustisford area in Dodge Co. WI. Perry and Matilda's children were, Dallas Hopkins, born in Iowa in 1872, and Bennet Burton Hopkins, born in Salina Colorado, Boulder Co. 1874. George W. Hopkins was born in Vermont around 1823. Trying to track down Harriet Craig, born January 5, 1825 (or 26) in Wisconsin, married William VanRensselaer Wooldridge from the Albany region of New York. They had land in Dodge County in 1848 and had moved on to Monroe County by 1854. They had several children while they were living in the Dodge County area. William Henry (b. 1845), Daniel W. (b. 1846), Truman C. (b. 1848), and Medora (b. 1850).

At least three of their children were born in Lebanon, Dodge County, Wisconsin. The family later moved to Sibley County, Minnesota. Why did they go to Wisconsin first? I am searching for any information regarding my great-great-grandparents and their family from Aamli,Norway. My great-great grandfather was Tolv Olsen Aasen, b.1792 .His wife was Guro Johnsdatter Gjermundness, b.1793. Their children were Knud Tolfsen Aasen, b.1825, Bergith Tolfsdatter Aasen, b.1828 and Svenning Tolfsen Aasen, b. 1833. The family were passengers of the ship "Magnolia", which arrived New Orleans November 17, 1845 from Le Havre, France. I would think some members of the family would be found in Dodge county,but using a name different than Olsen or Aasen. I know that other passengers from the ship "Magnolia" arrived Dodge county in the beginning of 1846. Also I am interested in accounts of the journey from New Orleans to Wisconsin. I would greatly appreciate any information you could give me. Thank you in advance for your help.
