TOP ROW, PHOTO 3 ... Hans Nilssen Reiten & Marit Olsdatter Sandvik family. Hans was born 10 Jun 1870 in Singsås, died 11 Mar 1949. Marit was born 20 Jan 1873 in Meldalen, died 31 Dec 1945. Their three sons in the picture (left to right):
Arther H. Reiten, 25 Dec 1896-16 Dec 1951
Melvin A. Reiten, 28 Dec 1894 -1 Dec 1941 Nels O. Reiten, 27 Mar 1893 - 14 Nov 1975
Their fourth son was born in Bayfield County, WI in
1900... I'd say that this picture was taken about late 1897 or 1898.
Information from Trevor Reiten, great-great grandson of Hans and Marit
and great grandson of Melvin.
