County. 
Deaths were not required to be
registered in Wisconsin until years later, so this is not a
complete listing of all the deaths in Florence County.
Additional sources of death information may be BURIAL RECORDS that
the local churches/ parishes recorded.
Also, we have some of the cemeteries listed on
our CEMETERIES page -- and you might also check with the
courthouse for burial permits.
The information is from the
index created by the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family
Services, Vital Records Division. However, it is important to
note that there will be some records at the county level not
included in this statewide index. The "mistakes" and
misspellings were copied just as they appeared--I found some of
my family with surname spellings I WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED!!

***ALL death dates are
between 1882-1907! Prior to 1882 when Florence became a county,
you will need to search in Marinette & Oconto counties.
