MIHILLS, general supply merchant, was born in St. Mary's, Ohio, in
1857; came to Wisconsin in infancy, with his parents; was educated at
Buffalo, N. Y.; in 1872, went to Fond du Lac, in the lumber business,
where he remained until 1879. In the meantime, he was burned out
several times, with losses from $300,000 to $500,000. Came to Florence
in 1880, where he engaged in the grocery and general supply business,
and was again burned out in May, 1881; rebuilt, and was again in
business in about two months; was married to Miss Mary E. Coburn, of
Fond du Lac, in 1876.
