Mrs. Elizabeth (Parman) Drake, 81, a pioneer of the Town of Black Earth, passed away in her farm home after a long illness. Her husband Alva Drake, passed away seven years ago.

Survivors are one son, Floyd, Town of Black Earth; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother Ed Parman of Prairie du Sac; one sister Mrs. Almeda Heydon of Mazomanie.

The body was taken to the Schanel Funeral Home, Black Earth, where services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Charles Polley of Bible Fellowship Church of Madison officiation. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetary.
