Died, September 8th, 1887, Mrs. Martha Hawley, daughter of Samuel Norton. She was born in Barnsley, England in 1818. She came to this country in 1845, and settled with her parents in Mill Creek valley for a number of years where she married W.W. Hawley and seven children were born until them, three of whom have died, two sons and a daughter, leaving four daughters to mourn her loss.
