Sun Prairie- Pearl B. Parkin, age 91, died on Friday, January 14, 1994 at a Waunakee nursing home. She was born on May 30, 1902 to Charles and Elizabeth (Anderson) Campbell. She married Frank Parkin on December 6, 1920. Survivors include a daughter, Delores (George) Straus of Sun Prairie; a son, Robert (Genevieve) Parkin of Mission, Texas; six grandchildren, Doug (Sue) Straus of Waukesha, Ed (Judy) Straus of Sun Prairie, Judy (Dan) Busse of Plain, Janet (George) Thomas of Sun Prairie, Gloria (Bob) Elmore of Brookfield, and Barb (Harry) Shima of Washington state; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Elsie Edmunds of Madison; and two brothers, Lawrence (Marcella) Campbell of Oregon and Glen (Evelyn) Campbell of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Violet, Hazel, & Thelma; and her brothers, Clifford, Harry & Raymond. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 17, 1994 at 6:00 pm at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prarie, with Pastor Ross Oestreich officiating. Burial will be held in the Mazomanie cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:30 pm until the time of services at the funeral home on Monday.
