The Green County Genealogical Society compiled this surname listing to help further the search for family members.
Sometimes, a family with the same surname was not always buried in the same cemetery, the same township and in
some cases the same county, although they might be living in close relation to each other. GCGS has indexed all
of our cemeteries that are in print in hopes of easing your search.
There may be more entries for the same given name at any one cemetery. You may wish to check the "unknown" entries if you a bit of information that might match up. For more information, send $3 for each surname to GCGS, PO Box 313, Monroe, WI 53566. Someone will look up the information for you, copy it and send it on to you. Please do not expect us to copy all of the more common names such as requesting copies of all of the Smiths.
