Necedah gets a new pastor for the coming year as a result of the assignments made at the West Wisconsin Methodist conference held in Sparta last week. Rev. R. B. Klein is the choice for Necedah. On account of poor health, Rev. Klein did not do active work last year, but the year previous to that he filled the pulpit at Galesville in a very satisfactory manner. He and his wife are said to be talented and refined people who will receive a heart welcome here as residents of our little village.
Rev. F. M. Prucia, who has served the Necedah church for a period of two years, has been assigned to Neillsville, a larger charge. Other assignments made in the near vicinity which will be of interest to our readers are as follows by Levi A. Brenner, superintendent:
Black River Falls, Leroy E. Hoisington
Elroy, W. W. Hurd
Lindsey and Babcock, L. E. Peckham
Mauston, Emanuel Harris
New Lisbon, W. P. Burrows
Sparta, J. H. Shaw
Tomah, G. B. Haskell
