Andrew M. Rusten
Andrew was born in Dokka, Valders, Norway on October 25, 1886. He came to the United States when he was 17. He married Olga Abrahamson. Olga was born in 1889. Rev. Rusten was a Lutheran minister for 60 years. He lived in Elroy for 18 years (1930-1948). During that time he pastored the Plymouth, Fountain, and Greenwood churches. He started Bethany Lutheran Church in Mauston. Rev. Rusten died on March 1, 1974 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Olga died on February 3, 1976 in California. They were buried in the Fountain Lutheran Cemetery (Juneau Co Cem Bk 3, p. 247).
