At a meeting of the patrons of the new cheese factory at Elroy, April 5th,
the following officers were elected:
Salesman, H. L. Ashdown
Sec., A. A. Telfer
Asst. Sec., H. L. Ashdown
Treas., B. B. Thompson
Directors, Geo. Rosier, Geo. Morgan, D. M. Fowler
Mr. Ashdown agreed to make the cheese for two cents per pound, furnish everything and deliver the same at the depot. The factory will commence receiving milk Monday, APril 14th. About forty patrons were present and the best of feeling prevailed.
