A Large Delegation Visits Neighboring Lodge
The Mauston Star, March 20, 1902
On invitation of Tomah lodge F & A. M., eighteen brethren from Northern
Light Lodge went to Tomah last Friday afternoon. After a banquet at six o'clock,
given by the ladies of the Eastern Star, they attended a meeting of the Tomah
Lodge and witnessed work in the Third degree. The ceremonies were conducted
by D. McMiller, of Hartland, Deputy Grand Master of Wisconsin.
The Mauston delegation speaks in the highest terms of their reception at
the hands of the Tomah brethren. There were large delegations present from
all the neighboring lodges. Those present from Mauston were: A. S. Wetherby,
F. S. Veeder, I. L. Alsbacher, E. L. Anderson, J. E. Palmer, W. A. Grimmer,
L. Wiedenbeck, B. F. Broezel, H. C. Thompson, Geo. B. Winsor, A. D. Gill,
W. G. Beebe, M. Knickerbocker, O. G. Loomis, I. C. Baldwin, C. M. Wetherby,
A. W. Hosig, John Turner and B. N. Souther.
