• E. Trimm, pastor, and W. H. Darrow took their departure Tuesday for Chippewa Falls to attend the meeting of West Wisconsin conference.
• Ferdinand W. Jaros, attorney and counselor at law, Chicago, was a guest at Mrs. J. T. Dawes' for several days this week.
• Wm. L. Fuller, secretary of the Necedah Flour Mill Co., made a business trip to La Crosse Wednesday.
• A. O. Charnholm, manager of the American Norsk Store, is in Milwaukee attending the State Fair.
• Mrs. Alice M. Sargent started Wednesday night for Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.

• Mrs. Geo. Coffman and daughters returned Saturday evening from Fond du Lac.
• May Stevens returned to Evanston, Ill., on Wednesday night of last week.
• Miss Lizzie O'Shea started for New York Thursday night to visit relatives.
• F. H. Bulger and family visited Strong's Prairie last Saturday evening.
• Mattie McCann was taken suddenly ill Wednesday afternoon.
• B. H. Wake and family visited with Mauston friends last week.
• Merchant M. G. Dustin has been quite ill for several days.
• Mrs. E. Weston returned Saturday evening from Spring Green.
