Juneau County Argus, dated Friday, 30 Apr 1886

New Lisbon is to be build up this summer where it was burned last winter.  F. J. WILDNER having purchased the ground next to Chester & Curtis, will build a brick store with 20 feet front and 60 feet deep.  Mrs. C. S. CARR will build on the next lot and her store will be 31 feet front and 40 feet deep.  John GILL will build a store running to the corner which will be 110 feet fronting Adams street and 40 feet deep also facing Bridge street.  Andrew LEICHT will build a residence west of Gill's store, which will give the place that was burned last December, a very fine appearance and will be a grand addition to the village. Let the good work go on and Lisbon may become a very neat and busy little place.  It has all the natural advantages of many larger places and if a few of our business men would take hold as they are now doing, our town will soon be a strangernon domestic.
