TEACHERS' INSTITUTE
Mauston Star, August 9, 1894
There is a very large attendance, the largest ever held in the county, at the Institute for the benefit of Juneau County teachers, held at the school house this week. It is under direction of W. J. Brier, of the River Falls Normal School, who has before held institutes in this place, and with great success. The work is divided, Mr. Brier having school management, two divisions in reading, and one in language. Mrs. Bloomfield has two divisions in arithmetic and two in language. Mr. Fletcher ine division in language. Mr. Hageman one division in physiology, and Supt. Smith one in history. Following are the names of teachers in attendance with P. O. address:
