14. Tarjei Haavardson Kvanbekk
Tarjei was a soldier.
He bought Kjos farm in 1744 from his sister, Ragnhild.
Age at death was given as 50.
His probate dated 2 Oct 1747 at Kjos farm in Aamotsdal.
Guardians to children were: Gjermund Halvorson Kvanbekk and Knut Valhovd of Oyfjell.

She did marry again I think to someone from Hjartdal. But died at Kj osas a widow aged 80.
15. Ragnhild Haavardsdtr Kvanbekk
Ragnhild as a widow sold Kjos in 1744 to Tarjei Haavardson (must be h erbrother), but he must have been living here already for some time.
Died at Fossheim at the age of 56.
TF lists her probate on p. 204 under Fossheim. And lists 5 children:

b. Kari, 2
3. Aanund who TF says died in his childhood probably
4. Aashild who died at Kjos in 1759 at the age of 21.

In 1730 Tjostolv and Ragnhild has living with them a servant boy name dNils who had been born in Kongsberg and was 16. Also a servant gir lnamed Gunnhild, born in Oyfjell, 30. And a "husqvinde" named Aashi ldwho was 70.
TF says that Tjostolv and Ragnhild had at least 4 kids. So could b emore.
Her probate 1707: 171 rdl of which 100 rdl value of Kvanbekk. Tentat iveid, but seems to work.
Died at 29
Age given at death is 104, probably incorrect.
